Career in Army Service

While there are many options, some U.S. Army Careers include: Infantry Officer, Cyber Officer, Armor Officer, Aviation Officer, Military Intelligence Officer, Engineer Officer, Field Artillery Officer, Finance Officer, Medical Service Officer, Military Police Officer, Ordnance Officer, Quartermaster Officer etc.

What is Agniveer ?

The recruits named Agniveers serve for a tenure of four years that include training for six months followed by 3.5 years deployment. After retirement from the service, they will have the opportunity to apply to continue in the armed forces.

Selection Process in Army

The minimum education qualification to join the Indian Army after 10th is 10th/SSLC or equivalent with 45% marks in aggregate and minimum 33% marks in each subject. The science stream is often considered a popular choice among aspiring army officers. 

After completing 12th, aspiring candidates can appear for the NDA entrance exam. Successful candidates undergo a rigorous three-year training program that covers academics, physical fitness, and military skills. On successful completion, they are commissioned as officers in the Army.
